Release date this weekend for Christmas Romance

Well, after much work and lots of different covers and titles my Christmas Romance is almost ready to be presented to the public. It’s part of the Chasing Cowboys series. It’s an interesting swing on romance. I can’t wait for the final edit to be complete. Hopefully by Saturday. 

Here’s a little tidbit from “The Chrismas Gift From The Past”:

The jukebox started playing a slow love song. “Come dance with me Eve.” He grasped her hand and pulled her out of the booth and into his arms.

Her head was spinning. Was he saying what she thought he was? She laid her head on his shoulder and let the feelings just flow over her. They’d always gotten to the verge of making love, but always stopped just short of actually going through with it.

When the song stopped he leaned with his lips close to her ear. “Let’s go back to my place.” He kept his arm around her waist as they walked out to his truck. “You can follow me.” He kissed her heatedly before opening her car door.

As she followed him out of town her mind was racing. Was she really going through with this? Wasn’t this what she’d been waiting on, saving herself for? Would this be the start of something really special?

When they pulled in to his yard, he quickly got out and walked back to open her door. He took her hand and they walked to his house. She was suddenly nervous. He noticed the look that crossed her face.

They walked into the house and when he shut the door he pulled her into his arms. “I’ll take really good care of you. I want this to be special.” The whole time he was talking he was pulling her down the hall. “It’s way past time that we explored our feelings.”

Brain Freeze

It’s been really chilly down here in the South. We’ve been having freezing temps and it’s got me just frozen. I’m cold natured, but I love winter. 

As for my writing, it’s been going well. I’ve been in full writing mode for a couple of weeks. I’m in the editing stages of “Calm Before The Storm” and have changed a couple of parts. After I finished it I was reading over it again and realized that I didn’t like the flow of a couple of scenes. My Editor totally agreed and we put our heads together to give it a more fluid motion.

It’s in editing, so hopefully I’ll have that completed soon and can get it published. It’s been a really neat storyline and I can’t wait to finish part three “Nadia’s Revenge” which will just blow your mind. It’s going to be a little intense, but that can add to the reading experience.

It’s funny when you write a romance that you sometimes slip away from the romance and fill the story with tragedy, horror in some instances, paranormal things that make you shiver and mysteries oh and don’t forget suspense. I think this book may have all of thses. 

Hope all is well and everyone is gearing up for the Holidays. As for me I’m getting ready to do some major promoting, so get ready.

Right now the first book “Sweet Innocence” is Free on all venues. So go by and snag it up before the next one comes out. It’s been in the top 50 on Amazon for about a week. So exciting. Thanks for all the support.

Writing for fun…

Have you ever tried to just write for fun? I’ve got a couple of stories hidden away that were just whims that I wrote down. I may one day put them into a book as short stories. It’s amazing how a writers mind works sometimes. One minute I’m deep into the research for a novel and the next minutes I’m off chasing rabbits down the rabbit hole. (I love Alice In Wonderland). 

I have a couple of short stories that I’m playing with now. I hope to have them out really soon. I will give you a little info on them. They’re 3 very sexy stories that happen at the beach. The name of the coupling of books is “Passion In The Sand”. The individual stories are “Passion for one Night” “Passion for one Weekend” and “Passion for a Lifetime”. I’m really excited about this rabbit hole I jumped in with both feet.

Now, for those that have been emailing me about the 2nd installment of “My Prodigy” called “The Calm Before The Storm”, don’t fret. It’s in the final stages and the cover is almost ready. I think you will be surprised what happens and how.
